Sports Bar’s Free Throw Rap Battles are returning this April!
Sydney’s emerging local artists are encouraged to come and compete throughout the heats in the hopes of making it to the final.
One artist will be crowned the winner and will take home a Hennessy merchandise pack and a session at Studio 301 to record, mix, and master their very own single. This opportunity could be a huge steppingstone for the winning artist to take their career to the next level.
So spread the word and get ready to witness some incredible talent at Sports Bar’s Free Throw Rap Battle series presented by Hennessy.

EVENT DETAILS
Six artists will be selected to perform per heat. Each artist will have five minutes to perform songs of their choice to a panel of judges. Judges will be adjudicating based on originality, stage presence and crowd interaction. Bonus points for bringing a crowd!
Two artists from each heat will be chosen to move through to the final on Saturday 11 May. They will again have a five-minute set to prove why they deserve to win. The judges will deliberate, and one person will be crowned the winner!
