Our journey to date
Nineteen at The Star
The Star has joined forces with Gold Coast identities Simon Gloftis and Billy Cross for its stunning new rooftop restaurant and bar located atop our brand-new luxury suite hotel, The Darling.
The restaurant features a 110-seat dining area opening out onto an infinity pool overlooking the incredible Gold Coast skyline as well as a private dining area catering to more intimate functions. The bar, oozing style and class designed to entertain 300-500 guests, plays host to local DJs and features an extensive beverage and cocktail list as well as private booths and a VIP Bar.
The lavish new hotel forms the centrepiece of The Star Gold Coast’s landmark transformation and features 57 spacious suites ranging in size from 70sqm to a stunning 328sqm with impressive wraparound balconies. Each level features just seven suites, beginning with 22 base rooms, the Jewel Suites, and 21 larger Stellar Suites. While no comfort or detail has been spared in the creation of the hotel’s 14 most luxurious suites, which include four Penthouse Suites, three Penthouse Spa Suites and seven Penthouse Deluxe Suites which feature their own private Billiard, Media or Exercise room.
Canal Front Parkland Upgrade
The Star Entertainment Group worked with the City of Gold Coast Council to revitalise the parkland on the corner of the Gold Coast Highway and T E Peters Drive, Broadbeach – directly in front of the property.
The $1 million park redevelopment, which includes new lawn, a feature grassed mound, seating, pathways, recreational area and space for community stage reopened in 2018.
Prior to the redevelopment, the park was utilised to support the construction of The Darling.
Equipped with the latest technology, The Star’s highly anticipated new Sports Bar immerses sports enthusiasts in the heart of the action. A large LED super screen and additional television screens are fitted throughout the venue to create the ultimate multi-screen viewing experience, broadcasting all the unmissable matches, races and contests from every corner of the globe. Private booths provide a VIP experience for Sports Bar guests and offer exclusive packages and superior viewing position.

Whether you feel like a roast, Eastern cuisines, pizza, or a classic burger and chips - Food Quarter has your tastebuds sorted.
The new-look bar forms part of the property’s alignment to The Star brand and adopted some of the same branding and design cues as its sister-venue at The Star Sydney. Predominantly a cocktail bar, a combination of sumptuous velvets, lush fabrics and gold tones serve to create a lavish space for guests. An additional entrance improves guest flow, while four intimate VIP booths, each encased by exquisitely detailed screens, sits within the space and mimics elements of a bracelet design.
