Aussie rock legends The Angels with support by special guest Russell Morris, will SHAKE IT UP for Parkinson’s research this September!

The Angels are currently touring to sell out concerts as part of their ‘No Exit‘ 40 Years On album tour so don’t miss out on this very special performance with all funds raised supporting the Shake It Up Australia Foundation in their quest to find a cure for Parkinson’s due to the generosity of The Angels.

John Brewster shares his reason for supporting Parkinson’s research. “In April 1985 The Angels were flying from Denver to Los Angeles. United Airlines had given the band complimentary upgrades to First Class. As we walked through the airport Brent Eccles nudged me and said "Wow, look over there. It's Muhammad Ali!" He was sitting surrounded by mostly children signing autographs. We boarded the plane, I took my seat and soon after this big guy sat next to me. I looked up and it was him! So, short story, we talked throughout the whole flight, him with that halting speech brought on by his Parkinson’s disease. At one stage he asked me if I had kids. I said, "yes, I have a son, Sam, who is 2 years old". He asked for a piece of paper and drew this wonderful scene, mountains, ship on the sea, plane in the sky and sun beaming down. He signed it 'To John and Sam from Muhammad Ali April '85 with a smiley face' I enjoyed my time with him immensely and marveled at how well he was coping with Parkinson's.”

You’ll hear songs from their No Exit 40 Years On album as well as classic hits like Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again.
