With laugh-out-loud comedy, acclaimed theatre productions, live music and thrilling sporting events, Sydney’s premier entertainment precinct, The Star Sydney, continues to bring plenty of major international talent to the stage in 2018.

The Book of Mormon | 28 February – 15 July | The Star Event Centre
The outrageous nine-time Tony Award-winning musical finds its way to The Star at the end of February, following the misadventures of a pair of mismatched Mormon boys sent on a mission to preach in Africa. Dubbed the best musical of the century, this tongue-in-cheek musical comedy is not to be missed.

James Blunt – The Afterlove Tour | 13 – 14 March | The Star Event Centre
James Blunt brings his ‘The Afterlove Tour’ down under this March, celebrating the release of his latest album. First capturing the world’s attention in 2005 with his history-making number one classic single ‘You’re Beautiful’, the British singer is heading to The Star for two performances only on March 13 and 14.

Lionel Richie – All The Hits | 5 April | The Star Event Centre
Sing along to Lionel Richie’s greatest hits as the multi-platinum selling artist and Grammy Award winner performs his ‘All The Hits’ tour live and intimate this April at The Star. With classics ‘Hello’, ‘Dancing on the Street’ and ‘Endless Love’ on the cards, it’s a one-night-only performance that will have you up and dancing…all night long.

Louis Yan | 19 April | The Star Event Centre
The ‘David Copperfield of Hong Kong’ will captivate the crowds with his magic skills this April at The Star. Awarded with the exclusive ‘Best Stage Performer’ Merlin Award, don’t miss Louis Yan’s only performance on 19 April.. Tickets from $68 on at Ticketek

Wayne Brady – Brady AF | 17 June | The Star Event Centre
Dubbed ‘The King of Improv’, five-time Emmy winner Wayne Brady is bringing his hysterical show to Sydney this June. Better known as the leading man of Whose Line is it Anyway? Brady is bringing a hilarious evening of “did he really just say that?” moments to The Star on June 17. Tickets currently on sale from $100 at Ticketek

Love Shanghai – Memory Songs | 18 June | The Star Event Centre
Treat yourself to an enchanting evening with celebrated Chinese singer Yan Xue Jin and composer and conductor, Tu Ba Hai as they join forces with the Shanghai Light Music Orchestra. A night filled with Chinese pop hits, Love Shanghai – Memory Songs will grace The Star for one performance only on 18 June. Tickets on sale soon.

Sydney FC’s Home Away From Home | 3 March & 24 March | 24/7 Sports Bar 
The Star welcomes Sky Blue fans to the 24/7 Sports Bar, the official home away from home of Sydney FC. With plenty of action prior to kick-off and throughout the match, including merchandise giveaways, exclusive match previews from players, and food and drink discounts for those wearing Sydney FC colours, the game is guaranteed to be live, large and loud. Catch the next away games on March 3 as Sydney FC goes up against the Newcastle Jets, and on March 24 as they go head to head with the Central Coast Mariners. With all the action on the massive 34-square metre LED screen and DJs pumping the tunes until late, fans can celebrate victory into the night.  Entry is free. 

Johnny Lewis’ Boxing Series | 17 March | The Star Event Centre
Johnny Lewis, the man who coached Australian boxing legends Jeff Fenech and Kostya Tzsyu to world title victories, is returning to The Star to showcase the best talent in boxing. Taking place on St Patrick’s Day, Johnny Lewis’ Boxing Series is headlined by ‘The Fighting Irish’, Australian-based Irish boxing superstar Darragh “Super” Foley versus Steven Wilcox, alongside Australia’s best rising stars.
