Access will be based on capacity restrictions and all guests will be required to provide contact details upon entry.
Changes to capacity limitations mean we’ve updated our Main Casino Floor into three different Gaming Zones. Each zone with its own entry and exit point. So to help you find your way around, we’ve created a handy map to help point you in the right direction. Guests can only access one zone per day (day = 10am - 6am).
To ensure the ongoing safety of our members, guests and team members, The Star Sydney is also implementing further measures as part of our COVID Safe Plan including introducing temperature checks at each entry. Click here for more information.

Please note that access to Fat Noodle, Fuel, Food Quarter and 24/7 Sports Bar may not be accessible during your visit depending on your choice of gaming area and capacity restrictions. We would encourage you to speak to a host upon arrival to ensure you are allocated to the right area during your visit.
Our Signature Dining restaurants (Sokyo, BLACK Bar & Grill, Flying Fish and Momofuku Seiobo) are still open for everyone to enjoy and are operating with strict adherence to NSW Government guidelines for your safety.

Important update about The Star Club Membership
During the recent COVID 19 restrictions, we have taken a number of steps to make sure you continue to enjoy all the things you love most about your Membership to The Star Club.
Your Casino Dollars Rewards
We’re further extending the expiry on Casino Dollars until 31st December 2020. This means Members of The Star Club with Casino Dollars balances will not have them expire between 23rd March – 31st December 2020.
Your Membership Status
To support your Membership status, you received monthly Bonus Tier Points from April to August 2020. Bonus Tier Points have ended, now that Members living in NSW and QLD are able to visit again.
Your Membership information
You can view your Membership information, including Tier Status, Tier Review Date, Tier Point balance, Casino Dollars balance, and communication preferences when you log in to The Star App or at The Star Club website.
The Star Club is evolving on Wednesday, 7 October 2020, where can I find more information?
I would like to have my Tier Review Date extended as I have not been able to visit and will not be able to maintain my Tier.
Unfortunately, we are not able to change your Tier Review Date, however, please see one of our service team at the time of your next Tier Review and we will undertake an individual review of your account.

14 July 2020: COVID-19 Update
We have received advice from NSW Health informing us that a guest who visited our Sydney property ten days ago has tested positive for COVID-19.
The guest visited The Star Sydney on Saturday 4 July between 7:30pm and 10:30pm.
While we understand this may cause concern, The Star has a detailed COVID Safe Plan. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic the wellbeing of our guests and our people, has been and remains, important to us.
Based on the procedures implemented in our COVID Safe Plan The Star is now working with government and health authorities to provide necessary information for contact tracing purposes.
At this stage, NSW Health is not requiring anyone to self-isolate, but they are asking for people to monitor their health and be tested if they experience flu-like symptoms.
WHAT WE ARE DOING TO REMAIN COVID SAFE
The Star has a comprehensive suite of measures directed to promote the safety and wellbeing of our guests:
Hygiene & Cleanliness:
- Comprehensive cleaning with our doors closed daily between 6:00am and 10:00am (Main Gaming Floor)
- Frequent cleaning throughout the day of high contact touchpoints and areas.
- Physical distancing:
- Roaming social distancing attendants working to maintain 1.5m spacing.
- A reduced number of gaming machines are operating and restrictions implemented on how many players can sit at our table games.
- Access to areas in our venue will be restricted if necessary during peak times to maintain social distancing requirements.
Record keeping in line with government requirements to ensure contact tracing if required:
- All members must swipe their membership card prior to entry.
- Non-members are required to provide contact details prior to entering our restaurants or gaming areas.
- Hotel guest details are kept at the point of booking.
Team member training:
- Compulsory training around COVID-19 safety measures when returning to work.
- Provision of training and support on the correct use and disposal of PPE for relevant Team Members.
- Again, The Star is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members and will continue to promote a safe environment for our community.
