In total, Thorpe has won eleven World Championship golds, the third-highest number of any swimmer. Ian was the first person to have been named Swimming World Swimmer of the Year four times, and was the Australian Swimmer of the Year from 1999 to 2003. His athletic achievements have made him one of Australia's most popular athletes. Ian was awarded an Order of Australia medal in 2011 for his service to sport.
Today, Ian’s work is philanthropic on many levels. He has a human rights medal for his work with indigenous children in remote communities and an in-demand motivational speaker.
Erin Holland is an Australian singer, host, actress and model.
In 2013, Erin was crowned Miss World Australia, and went on to represent her country in the International Miss World competition in Bali, Indonesia, competing against 130 countries worldwide. An astounding 2.3 billion viewers tuned into the Grand Finale, where Erin finished the competition with one of the Top 6 Continental Queen titles of Oceania, Runner-up in the Talent and Beauty with a Purpose (charity) components, and the People’s Choice award.
