Earn Free Parking
- Drive to The Star car park entrances at Pirrama Road or Edward Street and insert your Membership Card into the ticket machine to enter.
- Earn free parking through various ways including playing on table games for 1 hour or more with your Membership Card (hand your Membership Card to the dealer before commencing your play).
- Your Membership Card will automatically have free parking set for the day.
- Insert your Membership Card into the ticket machine when exiting The Star, it will be free!
Simply enter and exit The Star car park by inserting your Membership Card into the ticket machine.
PLATINUM & DIAMOND MEMBERS
Get the VIP treatment and enter The Star car park via Edward Street. Sovereign members' parking on level 2 is exclusively for Platinum and Diamond Members. Simply enter and exit the car park by inserting your Membership Card into the ticket machine.
It’s easy to get to The Star whether you're driving, walking or using public transport. Alternatively, you can also try our private coach services or luxury limousines for a greater travel experience.

Our secure underground car park is designed with the latest directional parking technology so you can easily find a space. It's all part of our commitment to ensure you have an enjoyable experience at The Star.
Our parking rates per 5-hour period (or part thereof) are as follows:

After your 5-hour period expires, an additional 5-hour period will be charged. In the event of a lost ticket, a maximum daily rate of $55 per 24 hours period will apply.

ALTERNATIVE PARKING OPTIONS
From time to time, you may find our car park busy. To help you easily find a park on your next visit to The Star, download our map detailing all nearby parking stations and their hourly rates.
Our Car Park including Valet Parking is suitable for vehicles under 2.0 metres only and onsite parking for any vehicles over this height is not available. Please see Sydney Fish Market or alternate areas if you have vehicles above the 2.1 meters.
The Star welcomes UBER drivers and have dedicated the following 3 pick-up and drop-off points:
- 80 Pyrmont Street – directly in front of Floral Desire Florist
- 44 Piramma Road – near Sydney Lyric Theatre
- 2 Edward Street – directly across Coles Supermarket
Take a short walk from Town Hall to The Star over the Pyrmont Bridge. It only takes about 15 minutes.
The Star has bicycle (pushbike) parking facilities via the Pirrama Rd entrance car park located on level P3.
The Star has dedicated parking areas for motorbike. The daily rate is $7

SYDNEY LIGHT RAIL
The light rail departs from Central Station via Darling Harbour to The Star, 7 days a week.
Route 389 now operates between North Bondi and Pyrmont.
Take the ferry! Ferry services operate 7 days a week from Circular Quay and stop at wharves a few minutes' walk from The Star.
TRANSPORT FOR NSW

If you would like to travel in luxury to and from The Star, book an affordable limousine service with Royale Travel. The luxury limousine service is a 24 hour service, so you can plan your trip any day or night. They have a range of sedans, stretch limousines and luxury coaches, either for individuals or larger groups. What is The Star Express?
The Star Express is a network of chauffeured coaches which operate on dedicated routes between The Star and key suburbs across greater Sydney. Routes operate on scheduled timetables, beginning as early as 7:30 am and departing from The Star as late as 1:00 am.
Who can travel on The Star Express?
Anyone can travel on The Star Express! Regardless of whether it is your first time visiting The Star or if you are a long-term patron, the service is designed to be your most economical, convenient and reliable mode of transportation between The Star and your home. The Star Express ensures you are able to enjoy all that The Star has to offer, without worrying about your return home at the end of your experience.
How much does it cost?
At most, The Star Express costs $10 for a return ticket.
Gold and Platinum Members are eligible to receive a $10 reimbursement. Please swipe your membership card and present your bus ticket upon arrival with acceptable photographic ID at the Main Casino Floor cashier.
Note: Your coach ticket is redeemable on the day of issue only. The redemption is limited to one ticket per person per day.
Do I need to reserve a seat?
While it is not necessary to reserve a seat ahead of time, we encourage you to contact The Star Express ahead of pick-up times to reserve your seat by calling 1800 ROYALE (1800 769 253).
The Star Express strongly recommends reserving seats for groups larger than 6 persons. Group bookings of 15 or more are also available outside of scheduled times.
The Star Express services depart from The Star bus interchange, located adjacent to the Light Rail, underneath The Star.
The Star Express coach STAR numbers are clearly displayed on the front and side windows of the coach. Remember to swipe your Membership card upon entering the coach and be sure to hold on to your return ticket and give it to your chauffeur when you board. The Star Express is operated by Royale Limousines on behalf of The Star.
The Star provides extensive services for visitors with disabilities.
Disabled parking bays are conveniently located close to the car park entrance lobbies. Look for the individually identified bays.
All rest rooms in The Star offer easy access toilet facilities for those with special needs and disabilities.

The Sydney Lyric Theatre is both wheelchair and hearing impaired friendly. For requirements needing an alternative arrangement, please contact theatre bookings on +61 2 9509 3600.
A cloakroom facility is offered as a service to guests of The Star. It's located between the hotel lobby and casino entrance near the parking lifts. Please be reminded that items such as hats, cameras and electronic equipment aren't permitted within the gaming area. We request that you leave them in our cloakroom.
