The Star Gold Coast is Open from 4pm – Sunday 8th August 2021

 

In line with the advice we have received from Queensland Health, The Star Gold Coast will reopen from 4pm – Sunday 8th August 2021.  The following COVIDSafe measures will be in place when you visit us.

 

1. Face Masks must be worn

  • In accordance with the directions set out by Queensland Health, you must wear a face mask outside your home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask to gain entry to The Star Gold Coast.
  • Complimentary face masks will be available from our Security Team at all entrances.

 

2. Capacity Limits.

  • Indoor area capacities remain at one person for every four square metres.
  • We recommend you book your favourite restaurant to avoid disappointment.

 

3. Remain seated.

  • You must be seated to consume food and beverages.
  • This also applies in all gaming rooms.

 

4. Check In Qld App

  • You must continue to check in using the Check In Qld app at all entrances and in our restaurants and bars. Our team will be on-hand to provide any assistance you may need.

COVID-19 Update: Tuesday 1 June, 2021

Please note, from Tuesday 1 June, Members of The Star Club will need to scan the QR code and use the Check In Qld app for entry to the Casino floor

The Star Gold Coast will be using the new Check In Qld app to help keep you COVID safe the next time you visit.

 

All you need to do is:

 

- Download the app by clicking the button above - the app is available on Apple iPhone, iPad, iPad touch operating iOS 10.0 or later and Android devices using Android 5+.

- Enter your details once

- Open the app when you next visit us

- Select ‘Check in Now’ and hover your smartphone over our QR code

Once done, show the successful check-in screen to one of our friendly staff upon entry

 

Please note, from Tuesday 1 June, Members of The Star Club will need to scan the QR code and use the Check In Qld app for entry to the Casino floor

 

Using this digital check-in means your details are stored securely by the Queensland Government for fast COVID-19 contact tracing if needed.

Use of the app will help the Queensland Health contact tracing team quickly identify and assist anyone who may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Thursday 15 April: Safety Update

We’ve made some changes to the way we are operating, following the recent announcements from the Queensland Government regarding the easing of restrictions.
From 6am, Thursday 15 April, guests will no longer be required to wear a mask at The Star Gold Coast.
Guests will be allowed to stand up to eat and drink in all venues. Dancing will also be permitted.
The Star Gold Coast will continue its COVID-19 Safety Plan and follow directions from health authorities.
Access to the casino gaming facilities may, at certain times on Friday and Saturday evenings, be limited to members and their guests. 
All guests will be required to provide their contact details upon entry as per government COVID-19 directions. Access to food and beverage areas on the Main Gaming Floor (MGF) will be based on the number of available seats.
An increased number of Social Distancing attendants have been introduced across our premises and we ask all members and guests to follow their instruction.

At The Star Gold Coast, we want you to know that safety is our first priority. That’s why we’ve developed our COVIDSafe Plan to allow you to enjoy your visit with total peace of mind.

Your Wellbeing

We ask you to follow the new safety measures that have been put in place to ensure a safe and clean environment is maintained.

All new measures are in accordance with the government mandated requirements. While we are excited to welcome you back, if you are unwell, please stay home. You may be denied entry if you are showing visible signs of COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms.

 

If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, or in a named COVID-19 Hot Spot in the last 14 days; are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test; or any Federal State or Territorial government has issued restrictions or reasons for leaving your home which do not permit you to visit The Star Gold Coast, or directions to quarantine or self-isolate which are currently applicable to you, we require you to defer your visit.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Physical Distancing

We’ve implemented measures to help maintain safe physical distance at all times. 

For social distancing, we’ve made some changes to the way you play. All gaming machines and select table games will be available but social distancing must apply. Seating at table games will be limited and back betting will not be permitted. Please also be aware that at peak times, access to certain areas may be restricted due to capacity guidelines.
