Italians are famous for their love of gathering around a long table on a glistening day, enjoying warm conversation, good wine and beautifully prepared food.


We invite you to sink your fork into a mouth-watering Italian feast on Saturday, 28 May, at Cucina Vivo's Dal Zotto Prosecco Long Lunch.


Join us at this exclusive event overlooking the pristine pool as we showcase the generosity of Italian hospitality and King Valley winery's flagship prosecco, all accompanied by great live entertainment.


Not for the faint-hearted, this two-and-a-half-hour degustation transports you to the back streets of Southern Italy with an assortment of share-style courses. The journey begins with a selection of authentic antipasti, including housemade pesto, olives, buffalo mozzarella, lemon-scented goats curd and Caprese salami, San Danielle prosciutto and more.


Then it is time for something more substantial. Indulge in semolina dusted loligo squid, mushroom and truffle arancini and, of course, Pizzaiolo Fabio's seasonal speciality pizza made with his incredible recipe handed down from his nonna.


The lunch concludes with ultimate drool-worthy handmade cannoli, a decadent tubed pastry filled with whipped ricotta, citrus and pistachio. These mouth-watering dishes pair perfectly with Dal Zotto's Pucino Prosecco, refreshing and delicious with hints of apple and pear.


Dal Zotto's Pucino Prosecco, the hero of the lunch, is the junior sibling to this King Valley winery's flagship prosecco and is best when shared with family and friends.


Who better to host the indulgent afternoon than Chief Winemakers, CEO of Dal Zotto Wines and Prosecco Pioneer, Michael Dal Zotto himself. Renowned as the first growers of Prosecco in Australia, the afternoon will be led by Michael who learned the art of making Prosecco from his father, who learned from his father, and beyond. A heritage he’s extremely proud of  and is looking forward to sharing insights.
