Country Music Double Headline: Max Jackson and Rachael Fahim
MAX JACKSON
Max Jackson, the 2024 CMAA Golden Guitar Winner for New Talent of the Year, hails from the charming country town of Coonamble in New South Wales. Her heartfelt narratives are intricately woven into the fabric of country and folk music, creating an intimate connection with her audience. Max’s acoustic performances transport listeners to sun-drenched front porches and dusty roads. In 2023, Max secured a deal with ABC Music and released her 1St Single with label, Little More Country. That single peaked at #1 on the Countrytown National Airplay Charts and held the top spot for 2 consecutive weeks. With 2024 now underway, Max has released her second single with ABC Music. The song is called Fixin’ Things and Max describes it as “Imagine a late-night honky-tonk full of people partying their problems away. Fixin’ Things is fun, high-energy, and sure to get you moving with its tongue in cheek, quirky lyrics, it’ll get you laughing too.”

Her soulful voice and authentic storytelling have captivated audiences far and wide. Rachael’s victory in the 2017 Toyota Star Maker competition catapulted her into the spotlight. She consistently ranks among Australia’s top streaming female country artists. Her unforgettable melodies, including “Even If I Wanted To,” resonate with authenticity. Rachael dominated the Australian Country radio charts for eight consecutive weeks in 2021. Her performance at SXSW left a lasting impression, earning her a spot-on NPR’s “Austin 100” playlist.
